4B: Maintaining Accurate Records
This component focuses on keeping track of students' records. This includes grades, assignments, field trip forms, parent forms, and materials that focus on the progress of the student.
It is important because teachers must know the progress of their students. This includes both instructional and non-instructional. By looking at these records, teachers can determine the strengths and weaknesses of each student by their progress in each subject. It helps teachers monitor their behavior.
